Don't know if you noticed, but it's less than 3 weeks until our first game of the Fall 2015 season!! We already have quite a few practices/conditioning sessions under our belts, but let's continue to press on.
Do you know how far a soccer player runs in an average game? 7 MILES
That's more than a 10K race. And it's not just running either. It's sprinting, turning, twisting, kicking, dribbling, passing, jumping...
Think you're up to the challenge? Of course you are. YOU'RE A TRAILBLAZER!
Your coaches will continue to help you improve your fitness and skill levels at our twice-weekly practices, but if you really want to be at your best, a little bit of training every day is the smartest way to progress. Starting this week, watch for daily training challenges in e-mail and on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/eastindytrailblazers). Most challenges should only take 15 minutes (or less), and you'll only need a ball, a watch and a little room to run. You can even do them if you're on vacation.
